Hand-folded manti, golden plov and fire-kissed lamb — Kyrgyz & Central Asian cooking, shared the way nomads always have. 100% halal.
01 — The Dastorkon
On the high pastures of Kyrgyzstan, a guest is a gift. The moment you arrive, a cloth is spread on the floor — the dastorkon — and it fills with bread, tea, dumplings and whatever the herd and the season allow.
Nomad Manti brings that table to Roosevelt. We're a small, family-run kitchen cooking the food we grew up with. Our little building on NE 65th, a former bus stop, now wears the reds, golds and blues of a shyrdak felt carpet — and inside, the kitchen is open, the dough is fresh, and every entrée comes with bread and black tea or a cold drink.

Every Friday and Saturday the charcoal is lit: marinated lamb on flat steel skewers, grilled until juicy with a whisper of smoke.

Boso lagman — homemade noodles tossed hard with beef, bell peppers, celery, green beans and garlic. Our guests' favourite, by a wide margin.
